Tim is a freelance photographer currently located in Augusta, Georgia and focuses mainly on research, event, music, and sports photography. His published works can be seen on major news outlets like CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, The New York Times. He has two recent publications in National Geographic (October 2012, March 2013) featuring his research efforts on mosquito flight in the rain and fire ant survivability in floods. Tim first became involved with photography through Georgia Tech’s student-run newspaper, The Technique, and honed his skills capturing current events, student life, and sports around campus. He later transitioned to working in the research labs at Georgia Tech, photographing research projects for professors and student reseachers.
